Synopsis

Main Characters

Dalgoda: The titular character, Dalgoda, is an alien who resembles a humanoid dog. He comes to Earth from his home planet Canida, seeking knowledge and adventure. Despite his canine-like appearance, he is intelligent, compassionate, and caught in political conflicts that arise due to his arrival. His presence on Earth stirs mistrust, especially from government authorities.
Posey Ravencraft: A disgraced naval shipman and former astronaut who isn't trusted by high-ranking government officials. Becomes Dal's close friend and partner.
Victor Kneedam: A misunderstood rival of Ravencraft. Has a condition that causes him to become radomly intoxicated.
Gunner: Gunner is a tough mechanic and Posey’s on again/off again girlfriend.
Randy Kneedam: Dal’s lawyer and Victor's son, despite him looking much older.
Lenore: Posey’s ex-wife. She left him years ago for the only other Canidan living on Earth besides Dal.
Earth Government Officials: Figures of power who view Dalgoda with suspicion.
